GENERAL QUESTIONS

How is your jewellery made?

Our jewellery is hand designed in Scotland, then sent to Aconia Castings in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham before finishing and polishing in the same area.

Who designs your jewellery?

Our jewellery is designed by our founder Ina Hampson who lives in the south west of Scotland.

Do you consider environmental concerns in the production of the jewellery?

We don't believe in mass producing and place emphasis on creating unique and exclusive designs.  All our pieces are created here in the UK and the chains on our necklaces are made from recycled silver.  Our jewellery boxes are made from recycled materials and they themselves can be recycled.

 

SHIPPING

Estimated delivery times?

UK delivery

Once an order has been placed, items are processed and shipped within 48 hours via Royal Mail first class signed for service.  Customers are notified via their given contact details.  Once shipped the package can be tracked via Royal Mail tracking service and should be delivered within 2 working days.

International delivery

All orders will be posted air mail and items are estimated to be delivered within 6-10 days.

 

Exchange policy?

Yes with the exception of earrings due to hygiene reasons!  We have a 14 day exchange policy, please check our refund and exchange page for more information.

 

MAINTENANCE

 

What is the jewellery made from?

All our pieces are made from 935 pure silver which leaves a brighter finish more resistant to tarnishing.  935 silver does not contain nickel therefore less likely to cause allergic reactions.

 

 

What is tarnish and will my jewellery change colour and what can I do to prevent it?

Tarnish is inevitable, as each time you wear your jewellery it is exposed to oxidising agents in the air and the natural oils and sweat/moisture your skin produces.  Always apply perfume, hair products and cosmetics before putting on your jewellery.

By simply using a silver polishing cloth to clean the piece this will ensure the jewellery retains its original shine.

 

Do you offer warranty on your items?

We do not offer jewellery warranty.  Once the items have been received it is up to the customer to follow the care guide.
